The best tailors seem to be located on the other side of the world… my brother is currently getting a full suit made up in Vietnam’s Hoi An, while I am ordering a personalised shirt from Australia!

Tailors Mark is an online provider of custom designed, made to measure business and dress shirts for men and women. Tailors Mark promises to offer an unparalleled extensive selection of fabrics with every imaginable tailoring option to make the shirt original and completely unique. The Tailors Mark website is very UK user friendly and, despite the distance, this company remains totally at the service of the customer with a very active twitter account and very effective communication – I was amazed by the immediate email response when I had a question. The online shop shows 3D imagery displaying your shirt as you design it, making this interactive experience clever and fun.

Keen to create a shirt inspired by the Thoroughly Modern Milly brand, I opted for the bright red and white striped 100% cotton, with striking blue buttons. Each step is easy to complete with a simple lay-out for even the most impatient customers! I added in some quirky detailing; a left pocket, Milanese cuffs and best of all, a Milly monogram inside the collar. I am counting down the days until my very particular personalised shirt arrives.

The prices are surprisingly reasonable, a fully tailored shirt will cost you under £100, a fraction of the Savile Row price and around half the price of an equivalent garment sold via traditional retail.

It may be located far away but Tailors Mark makes its service accessible to customers all over the world offering top class customer support and three week express delivery wherever you are. Don’t conform to high street specifications, design your perfect shirt today with Tailors Mark.

I loved the Loquet concept the moment I saw the charming new jewellery brand in a magazine. The luxury jewellery label has been created by Laura Bailey and her best friend Sheherazade Goldsmith, and launched in June 2013. Currently the range is only available on the website, but I am sure it will be available in top jewellery departments in the near future.

Loquet allows the wearer to create their own bespoke locket using charms and precious gems. Tiny memories can be encased in varying sizes and shapes of crystal gold framed ‘loquets’, available in 9 kt or 18 kt gold. Each charm represents a different emotion or memory, a lucky horseshoe, a diamond for beauty, a religious symbol, the birthstone of a loved one. Every necklace is special and different, a one of a kind bespoke piece.

The website, loquetlondon.com, is a visionary and playful new interactive shopping experience, where you can design your ‘Loquet’ or simply browse for inspiration amongst hand-drawn dancing animations and galleries. Post a photo of your creation or join the ‘Journal’ conversation. And your ‘Loquet’ and charms will be delivered in 24hrs.

Loquet ensure you can always carry your stories close to your heart. Here is my loquet so far… filled with a couple of important letters and my birthstone, Amethyst.

Design yours here.

Annoushka started designing jewellery when she couldn’t find what she was looking for. A woman after my own heart she believes in jewellery that can be worn everyday rather than those too precious pieces locked away to preserve their glory. Jewellery should be loved and enjoyed… A notion all too clear in the playful but delicate jewellery designed by Annoushka. The wondrous designs adorn some of the top A-list celebrities, an indication of just how desirable these pieces are.

Alongside her seasonal ranges Annoushka has just launched a very unique bespoke service for customers in need of a one off piece. Let her help you create the jewellery of your dreams… Perfect for capturing and immortalising an important moment.

The mythology charms are among the most enchanting in Annoushka’s collection. She says they were”Inspired by a book of Russian fairy tales my mother read to me as a child, every amulet holds a story.” Ideal for wearing in a cluster or left to shine alone they are beautiful little tokens of affection or special memories.

The alphabet pendants are a small sparkling treasure you will keep forever.  18ct yellow gold rim surrounds a letter of your choice ornamented with tiny clear diamonds. The pendant initially reminded me of the showbiz lightbulb illuminated letters. My ‘M’ glistens subtly on my neck, and though it is a new addition to my favourite jewellery it has already become an everyday essential.
