I rarely wear heels, and usually only brave them in a safe environment that is with no stairs, road crossings or grassy terrain to negotiate. When I do decide to be extra girly and don a pair of stilettos I will always carry a sensible substitute for when my feet give up for the night.

It’s never pretty carrying a scrappy plastic bag and clutch bags definitely don’t have space for shoes, so girls are left with the dilemma of what to do with their heels after they have made their appearance for the night. Shusac was invented by Nadine, clearly a woman on a mission who created the product with a personal need in mind.

She came up with the idea after meeting too many women who either:
– carried heels around in plastic bags
– wrecked precious heels in unsuitable environments
– have given up on glamorous shoes after experiencing high-heel pain and gone barefoot!

ShuSac is the ultimate shoe bag specially designed to transport high heeled shoes with ease and style. A very light and comfortable to carry bag with separate compartments for each high heel, it is ideal for all occasions. The separate compartments prevent scuffing and a front zip pocket keeps smaller possessions safe. ShuSac has a sporty look, with a shoulder strap and is available in a variety of colours to suit business and fun occasions.

This is a perfectly practical present for a heel lover. Priced at £29.99 with free UK delivery.

I loved the Loquet concept the moment I saw the charming new jewellery brand in a magazine. The luxury jewellery label has been created by Laura Bailey and her best friend Sheherazade Goldsmith, and launched in June 2013. Currently the range is only available on the website, but I am sure it will be available in top jewellery departments in the near future.

Loquet allows the wearer to create their own bespoke locket using charms and precious gems. Tiny memories can be encased in varying sizes and shapes of crystal gold framed ‘loquets’, available in 9 kt or 18 kt gold. Each charm represents a different emotion or memory, a lucky horseshoe, a diamond for beauty, a religious symbol, the birthstone of a loved one. Every necklace is special and different, a one of a kind bespoke piece.

The website, loquetlondon.com, is a visionary and playful new interactive shopping experience, where you can design your ‘Loquet’ or simply browse for inspiration amongst hand-drawn dancing animations and galleries. Post a photo of your creation or join the ‘Journal’ conversation. And your ‘Loquet’ and charms will be delivered in 24hrs.

Loquet ensure you can always carry your stories close to your heart. Here is my loquet so far… filled with a couple of important letters and my birthstone, Amethyst.
