Covent Garden Dental Spa, Diamond Clean

When I started blogging nearly two and a half years ago I never thought I would be writing and reviewing anything as specialist as a Dental Spa! It is certainly not where my expertise lies nor something I have really any knowledge in, so bear with me.

Dental appointments are universally disliked… no one enjoys having utensils shoved in their mouth poking and prodding around uncomfortably. At the Covent Garden Dental Spa though, it is more of a pleasant pampering treatment, you sit back and relax in the plush comfy chair and enjoy your teeth makeover.

The dental spa is keen to help you achieve your perfect smile, working on anything you feel insecure about ensuring you leave satisfied. I tried the ‘Diamond Clean’ treatment, a 40 minute session which involves deep cleaning and restoring the shine and sparkle back into your smile, and leaving your teeth whiter than ever.

Hidden among the trendy trainer shops of Neal Street, the Covent Garden Dental Spa is small and discreet, not easy to spot. It is calm and cool inside, surprising considering the buzz of the bustling street outside. The founder and dentist, Flora Chigwedere looked thoroughly and expertly at my teeth, recommending techniques for improved cleaning and suggesting ideas to improve my dental health. She seemed generally pleased with my cleanliness though, thank God, as I was worried prior to the appointment.

The chair was amazingly comfortable, I could easy have dozed off, apparently many people do! Using a clever little camera we looked in detail at the problem areas where plaque had built up and signs of gum recession, things I need to show more attention to in future. Flora cleaned methodically and systematically to give my teeth the best clean they have ever experienced. Polish was then applied by brush to give extra shine to the teeth. They felt smooth and deliciously clean. I was most impressed with the genuine desire the Dental Spa demonstrates for the client’s continued healthy teeth. As well as improving the current state of my teeth, the dentist advised and encouraged thoughtful and precise advice about how I could maintain my new sparkling smile.

The Covent Garden Dental Spa offers a range of cosmetic dental treatments to make you feel confident and content with your teeth, with more pleasure than pain.
