I can’t resist mentioning the new Nails Inc Neon Collection for this week’s hot on the high street feature. A range of bright colours brought out specially for Spring/Summer to jazz up nails and tap into the current neon trend.

I have always been wondered how and why Nails Inc pick the names for their varnish hues and am delighted to find this five piece group of colours is based round West London street names-

Kensington Park Road – bright sky blue
Ladbroke – grass green
Portobello – fabulously fun orange
Baker Street – amazing azure
Holland Park – pretty purple

The nail varnishes, though extra bright, also have a creamy texture, and come out thick on the nail so only one or two coats is ever needed. I have always found that Nails Inc are long lasting on the nail and that the colour remains vibrant. I particularly love the orange and blue shades, but I think the five colours would look brilliant painted on each of the five nails of each hand to present a technicolor vision.
