Milly Kenny-Ryder is a food, travel and interiors photographer, writer, consultant, and stylist.

She began her blog, thoroughlymodernmilly.com, in 2010 and soon extended her photography to Instagram where she shares as @millykr and has gained a sizeable, dedicated following.

Milly has been named in the Top 10 Food & Travel influencers by The Evening Standard, writes anonymous hotel reviews for Mr & Mrs Smith, and regularly supplies photographs for publications including Conde Nast Traveller, House Beautiful, and Sunday Times Travel.

Milly has provided photography, styling, and consultancy for clients across the food, travel, hospitality, and luxury sectors. Recent clients include The Dorchester Collection (photography training), deVOL (content creation and Instagram promotion), Kricket (social media consultancy), Page8 Hotels (guidebook production), and London Coffee Festival (social media content and strategy).

Milly has comprehensive knowledge and experience of the global food scene, particularly the UK and London, her home town. She has visited and chronicled most of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, 100s of Michelin-star restaurants, and many of the best independent eateries around the world.

In 2016, Milly co-founded Weekend Journals, an independent guidebook company that produces curated guides for weekend destinations. Through these books she has interviewed some of the world’s greatest chefs including Clare Smyth, Mauro Colagreco and Nathan Outlaw.
