I am very excited to see the launch of the Mavala ‘That’s My Colour’ campaign. This is a month long social media initiative which sees Mavala nail varnish brand encouraging the public to send in pictures (via Twitter and Instagram using #ThatsMyColour or directly to the MavalaUK Facebook page) of objects featuring colours they’d love to see bottled and turned into a Mavala nail polish. It could be your favourite dress, a flower or anything else made from a colour that inspires you. I know mine would be a particularly shocking shade of neon pink to match my website and all my thoroughly modern accessories.
See the video here explaining the campaign – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPF5CP_Bqqo and post your picture to one of the social media platforms below:

Good luck!
I spend way too much money on nail art, the girls at WAH Topshop know me so well, it is embarrassing. As a creative person, it is quite frankly preposterous that I’ve never attempted to do nail art myself, especially considering my ever growing collection of Chanel varnishes. So I challenged myself to learn, and with the help of Models Own nail art pens it is surprisingly easy to achieve good results and fun graphic designs.
I have always admired Models Own for their no fuss, reasonably priced vibrantly hued nail varnishes and fun products to help you create the best ‘at home manicure’ possible. Now they have teamed up with the Nail Art Queens at WAH to create a collection of easy to use nail art pens, so that everyone can enjoy the trend.
The pens come in a range of five colours (blue, black, yellow, red and pink) and are priced at £6 each, but can be bought in a great gift box… all five for £20 saving you £10. Each pen has a thin nib for intricate work along with a long thin brush to add strokes and lines. Models Own are way ahead of the trend and I foresee Opi, Essie and Nails Inc soon following their example, revolutionising the traditional manicure and enabling one to create personalised, unique nails.
Feeling lazy? Models Own also offer a selection of funky Nail Art Wraps with six different popular WAH designs: Pow!, Cuboid, Roses, Hearts, Leopard and Stripes. Each pack comes with 20 easy to use stickers and a free full-sized Models Own nail file. Follow the simple 5 step application process with no need for drying time! They are priced at only £7.
Nail Art from WAH is by far my favourite way of accessorising any outfit, and the craze is fast growing. At last a nail brand have brought out products so that anyone and everyone can have fabulous nails. Thank you Models Own!
